The Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) has extended the time for filing 2020 employer tax returns by fourteen (14) days. The initial due date of 31 January 2021 is no more applicable. The new deadline is now Sunday, 14 February 2021.
The extension of time became necessary due to effect of COVID-19 pandemic on businesses in Lagos State. All returns should be filed on LIRS electronic filing platform via etax.lirs.net. Simply follow the steps here to file the Form H1 tax returns.
