In March 2020, taxpayers in Lagos State received an additional period of 2 months to file the annual individual tax returns or Form A. The revised due date was May 30, 2020. However, Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) has extended the filing deadline again. The new deadline for filing the annual Form A returns in 2020 is June 30. All returns will be submitted online via the LIRS e-tax portal; https://etax.lirs.net. Taxpayers in Lagos State and the general public should take note of the new announcement.
